Belinda Judd

Dr Belinda Judd is the current chair of ASSH, having first joined the committee as a member of good standing in 2018. Belinda’s clinical background is in Physiotherapy, and she is an active educational researcher specialising in simulation-based education in the health professions, completing her doctorate in this area in 2017. Her research explores the educational outcomes of simulation-based education in the training and development of pre and post registration health professionals as well as simulation-based assessment, innovative models of clinical education and psychophysiological stress in simulation. Belinda has published a body of work in this area, supported by several grants, and presents at national and international conferences in simulation and higher education. Belinda is also a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney and helps to coordinate the Australasian Simulation Congresses as a member of both the scientific and organising committees.
