Colonel Spencer B Norris

Director Simulation Services, Joint Collective Training Branch, Australian Defence Force

Spencer has served in the Australian Army for 35 years, initially as an Infantry Officer, but has specialised in Training and Modelling and Simulation since 2007.  He was posted to the US Army National Simulation Centre in 2007, which sparked a keen interest in ensuring the Army was utilising M&S in innovative and efficient ways to achieve training outcomes and mission preparedness. Following that position, he has held key roles in Army Simulation Wing, US Army Combined Arms Centre, Combat Training Centre and as Director Land Simulation in Army Headquarters.  He is currently Director Simulation Services at Headquarters Joint Operations Command.
