David established Risk-e Business Consultants (2012), an Executive Level Management Consultancy, when he retired as Deputy Commissioner of the NSW Police Force after over 30 years of service. Transitioning from Government to the Private sector, David has made it his mission to make future leaders comfortable in the uncomfortable through exercise management & practical learnings that allow future leaders to excel. David has developed and implemented exercises for Commonwealth and State based agencies; National Resilience & Recovery Agency (6 Emergency Management Exercises – 2021/22); NSW SES and RFS largest state exercises (2018/2019) Sydney Airport & CFA (2024).

David holds two (2) Masters in Emergency Management (2013) and Leadership and Management (2011) including Deans Award for Academic Excellence. Adjunct Professor in the UAE and written the Masters in Strategic Leadership in Risk and EM for the university of New England 2026.
