Fiona is currently General Manager, Workforce Development at Australasian Railway Association (ARA. Fiona is an experienced senior leader with a proven record in strategic change management and educational leadership. Fiona’s learning leadership in the rail industry began in 1996 when she joined State Rail as a senior educational leader. Following 9 years in rail Fiona transitioned to Sydney Ferries as Director of Training and Development where she was responsible for driving development of key operational and safety capabilities.
She has extensive experience in, and a passion for, designing and implementing capability development solutions needed to ensure the learner is at the centre of the solution and that the learning supports business objectives and meets compliance obligations.
