The Serious Games Showcase & Challenge Australasia (SGSCA) returns to the Australasian Simulation Congress (ASC) 2025, taking place from August 11–14 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. This premier competition spotlights cutting-edge serious games designed to address real-world challenges across sectors such as healthcare, defense, education, emergency services, and beyond.

Objectives:

  • Highlight and promote serious games that offer innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Foster collaboration among developers, industry leaders, and academia to advance simulation technologies.
  • Provide a platform for Australian and New Zealand developers to gain international recognition, with winners earning automatic finalist positions at the global Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C) held at I/ITSEC in Orlando or another equivalent global conference.
